Betty Bounds Obituary
Betty Virginia Bounds, age 80, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, August 8, 2018 in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Bounds was born December 26, 1937, in Texarkana, Arkansas. She was retired from Wadley Hospital and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Donald L. Bounds of Texarkana; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Clyde and Dianne Bounds of Texarkana and Morris Bounds of Nash, Texas; one daughter, Candace Bounds of Texarkana; one grandson, Aaron Bounds of Redwater, Texas; two sisters, Marjorie Buckley of Texarkana and Janet Moore of El Dorado, Arkansas; two brothers, Parnell McDowell and Terrell McDowell, both of Texarkana; one great-grandchild; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M, Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas Chapel with Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

Betty was one of the sweetest women i knew. God, husband and family was her life. I hope the family finds God's comfort in the days to come.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I worked with Betty for many years at Wadley. Of all the years I worked with her I never heard her say a bad thing about anyone and always had a smile on her face.
