Beulah Turner Obituary
Beulah Speaks Turner, age 75, of Somerset, KY, departed this life on Sunday, July 7, 2019.
She was born on December 29, 1943 to the late Rayford and Thelma Wells Speaks. Beulah was a pillar to her community and had many loving friends. She was a member of Mt. Victory Baptist Church and attended every Sunday up until she was no longer able to attend. Beulah loved the Lord and her family, all of whom are going to miss her greatly.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth “Deed” Turner of Somerset; three children, Darla (and Bryan) Blalock of Knoxville, TN., Ila Wilson (and John) Brooks of IN and Douglas (and Atalie) Turner of Dunnville KY; her brothers and sisters, Cleo (and Gloria) Speaks of Somerset, Faustine (and Hubert Jr.) Whitaker of Somerset, Lorraine Keith (and Gene) Tucker of Bronston, KY; one brother-in-law, Jim Sewell; and she was blessed with ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by two daughters, Jane Turner and Wayna Wilson; one brother, Fayne Speaks; one sister, Ruby Sewell; one granddaughter, Ashley Blalock; and one grandson, TJ Jasper.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 12, 2019 from 9:00am until 11:00am at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
Her funeral service will follow on Friday at 11:00am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will be at Chaney Cemetery in Ano, KY.
