Bryan Vincent Obituary

Bryan Keith Vincent, 57, of Westlake, passed away on Friday May 22, 2020 in a local hospital.

Bryan was a lifelong resident of Westlake. He was a 1981 graduate of Westlake High School and attended McNeese State University and University of Southwestern Louisiana. In addition to Bryan having been known for his talent as a proficient Master Mechanic, he was artistically skilled in crafting handmade duck calls and creating original camp art. He had a true passion and love for fishing, hunting, racing (both NASCAR and NHRA) and in his younger years was expertly skilled in skateboarding. He was a member of Spoon Bill City Hunt club for years and he was known by his nephews as "Uncle Fish".

Bryan was preceded in death by his father Auburn “Butch” Vincent; grandparents, Orris and Mable Vincent and Murray and Kirby Barber as well as his uncle Murray Wayne Barber. He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Janice Barber Vincent and sister, Leisa Vincent Michaud; three nephews, Matthew Bryce Serice, Chase Christian Michaud, and Drake Vincent Michaud, a niece, Loren Faye Babin: his companion, Lisa Cole Lebaron as well as numerous aunts and uncles, friends and extended family of the heart.

A celebration of Bryan’s life will be announced shortly and will take place at the Prien Lake Park Event Center.

Bryan will always be remembered by us, we had so many laughs, hanging out, taught Robert how to cook Cajun food, we loved his sense of humor and kindness. We named our son Justin , because of Justin Wilson and because of everything Bryan was about. We are sorry for the loss of our dear friend. Until we meet again love you forever.
