Our heart is so heavy hearing of the death of Joe. He and Patty was dear friends our back in 60's. So many fond memories. Was just talking last week when we were on Hwy 10 where Joe was when we passed the old shop. We are praying for the family for peace.

Chester's Obituary
Chester Joe Phillips, Sr., 72, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on March 31, 2018. Chester the son of Hazel and Chester Phillips was born on January 14, 1946 in Minden, LA. Chester was a Senior Master mechanic. He served in the U. S. Army.
Left to cherish his memory are his 3 daughters, Larenda LeBleu Ros of Gautier, MS, Becky McFarland & husband, Gene of Sugartown, LA, Kricey Childs & husband, Robert of Ledbetter, TX; son, Chester “Chet” Joe Phillips Jr. & Shantel of DeRidder; 1 sister, Dianne Steadmand & husband, Dean of Marthaville, LA, 15 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents Hazel and Chester Phillips; brother, C. D. Phillips, 2 grandsons, Corey LeBleu and Jaxon Reeves.
