2021
David McGaha, loving husband, father, and papaw, gained his angel wings on March 30th, 2021 after a short battle with cancer. David was born on January 11th, 1962 in Oklahoma City to Don and Lou McGaha.
David was well known in the Dibble community and was always extremely proud of his small town. He loved all sports and created many lasting bonds between his glory years playing sports in high school, coaching many years in little league, and many years watching his grandkids play.
David loved life and loved his family. He loved laughter and making others laugh. He had many great cheesy jokes to tell. He never met a stranger. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge with his grandkids. His greatest joy was his large family and took pride in raising his children. He overcame many obstacles, always smiling.
David is survived by his wife, Crystal McGaha; children, Jeremy McGaha and wife, Angie McGaha, of Dibble, Tara Merrick and husband, Kyle Merrick, of Blanchard, Tisha Greenwalt of Blanchard, Scotty Routon and wife, Jessica Routon, of Ada, Katie McGaha of Dibble, Brandon Earney and wife, Jana Earney, of Dibble, Brittany Simpson and husband, Billy Simpson, of Washington, and Cole McGaha and wife, Morgan McGaha, of Tuttle. He is also survived by his 21 grandchildren Hallie, Shilah, Chesney, and Daniella McGaha, Macy, Reese, and Josiah Merrick, Arwen, Alice, Alayna, Aowyn, and Stryder Greenwalt, Alexis, Annabelle, and Zachariah Routon, Serenity McDonald, Paisley, Nicholas, and Declan Earney, Braelynn and Kohen McGaha; and his mother Lou McGaha; two sisters, Donna McGaha and Janie Garner and husband, Rick Garner; one brother, Terry McGaha and wife, Chris McGaha; and many other loved ones and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald McGaha.
Viewing for friends and family will be from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Friday, April 2, 2021 at the funeral home. A memorial service to celebrate David’s life will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 3, 2021, at the Dibble Free Will Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.

One of the nicest men I have ever met. My son loved watching him work around the bus barn. Many prayers for God to wrap his arms around David’s family.

It’s been many years since I’ve seen David. He was a kind person in school and I considered him my friend. To the people who were blessed to be his family and friends....May God be with you as you lay him to rest. A good man taken way to early.
