The greatest man I've ever known. He'd do anything for me and tried to make everybody happy. He had the biggest heart and he battled until the end. He won his war because now he's walking around in a healthy body with no worries and no pain. Forever missed, loved, and remembered until I run into my grandpaws arms again! I LOVE YOU PAW!

I know this is a very difficult time for each of you. Memories of Uncle Dean will help you deal with the loss in the future. I remember his great sense of humor and his kindness. He always called mother and daddy and spent quite a bit of time visiting daddy when mother was so sick. And then there were the cats...and the cat house! Keep all of the memories so close and take care of each other!

I got to see and talk to Dean quite a few times over the last couple of years after not seeing him since Junior High. We ran across each other at the VA Hospital when we had appointments on the same day and I visited with him quite a few times while he was a patient. He was the same decent and nice guy that I knew in school and if Heaven has a basketball team I'm sure he is one the stars like he was in school. I am thankful that we crossed paths again. May God be with his family.

If everyone in the world had Dean's kind and generous personality, the world would be such a nicer place. He will be missed but it gives me comfort knowing that he is in our Lord's arms. Vanessa and family please know that you are in my prayers and thoughts. May God continue to give you comfort and strength in this time of sorrow. Uncle Dean was definitely a special person.
