Dewayne Bernard Bush was born December 12, 1983 in Starkville, MS to the late Robert Bush, Sr. and Viola Bush. He departed his life on Sunday, February 12, 2017.

He confessed in Christ as an adult.
Dewayne attended and graduated from Columbus High School in 2003.

Wayne was a sweet and kind person. He didn’t meet any strangers. He was loved and adored by everyone. He loved to dance and socialize with everyone. He was a great son, brother, uncle, and friend.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Bush, Sr., and his brother, Robert Bush, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his lovable memories: mother, Viola Bush of Columbus, MS; sisters, Mary Bush of Macon, MS, Eddie Lee Bush of Macon, MS, Lucille (Joe) Richardson of Columbus, MS, Hattie (Rob) Jackson of Columbus, MS, Kimberly (Keith) Cooper of Columbus, MS, and Robin (Clifford) Spriggs of Columbus, MS; brothers, James (Maxine)Bush of Atlanta, GA, Jimmie (Beatrice) Little of Gainesville, AL, Jessie (Danella) Bush of Macon, MS, Larry (Tekesha) Bush of Columbus, MS, Barry Bush and Tiffany of Columbus, MS, and Dan (Kista)Bush of Columbus, MS; two special friends, Mr. EJ of Columbus, MS and Jestine Ballard of Columbus, MS; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
