DORA S. MORA

Dora S. Mora, passed away on April 3, 2016 at The Haven of Douglas. Dora was born in Douglas to Jesus and Maria Saavedra. She attended schools in Pirtleville and Douglas. She worked as a waitress for many years at The Douglas Drug and The Pioneer Restaurant. Dora is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Ygnacio, Jose, Humberto, Edgardo, and Oscar; Sisters Amanda and Maria Agripina. Dora is survived by her brother, Manuel Saavedra (Sara), and sister-in-laws Maggie and Lilly Saavedra. She is also survived by her sons, Rene (Lourdes) and Ernie (Mary). Grandchildren Jonathan Mora (Myra), Noelle Robles (Manuel), Estefan and Andrea Mora and three Great-Grandchilden, Andres Robles, Roland and Ronald Mora. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Pirtleville with a Rosary being recited at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of the Resurrection being celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at the Pirtleville Cemetery in Pirtleville.
