Much love to all of you & my brother Jim. I remember Col. Asher as our neighbor in the Philippines and as my father's dear friend.
Losing your Dad is one of life's hardest blows - even though, yes, he lived a long & fruitful life surrounded by love. It is still one of the hardest goodbyes.
Love to you all & prayers for you in the days to come.

Aunt Bettie and Family,
Uncle Pete meant so much to all of us, he will truly be missed. I will never forget when both of you drove from Hooks & picked up a 17 yr. old excited, yankee HS grad at DFW and took her to college at DBC. I was so glad to have you both in my life during those amazing years. And, just look how your wonderful family has grown since then. Uncle Pete was always so proud of everyone, making sure we had pictures....He might have been born in South Jersey, but Uncle Pete's heart was always in Texas with his beloved family!......Thanks for sharing him with us........You all are in my prayers......Love~

Bettie and Family, Bill and I were saddened by your loss as well as ours. I told Bill and yesterday he got agitated, so I think he was realizing what happened. Colleen and I sat around him and he seemed comforted by looking at the pictures on Colleen's computer of the family. Our last trip to TX is very meaningful. May God's peace and comfort abide with all of you.

Pete, it was good to know you. We were room mates at Waterton Plaza for a few days. I got to know you and have some very fond memories of the times we lived there. I still tell people of my knowing you and show them the "Operation Varsity" and show the picture I made of you. May God Bless your wonderful family.
