Jairo Roberto Ponciano, 33
Jairo Roberto Ponciano, 33, of Blackfoot, Idaho, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah.
Jairo was born November 22, 1988 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Roberto and Martha Sanchez Ponciano.
Jairo grew up in Blackfoot where he attended schools, graduating from Blackfoot High School.
He worked at Premier Technologies as a welder for 15 years.
Jairo was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church. He enjoyed spending time with his children, shopping and just being with family.
Jairo is survived by his children, Danna Marie, Angelo, Jasmine Rose and Javier Julio Ponciano; his parents, Roberto and Martha Ponciano; and siblings, Viviana Araceli (Ivan Matheis) Ponciano, Leonardo Ponciano and Daniel Ponciano; niece Joselin and nephew Ivan Fernando; all family of Blackfoot.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Juana Zapien.
A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church. A rosary will be at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Hawker Funeral Home with a viewing to follow until 8:00 p.m.
