James Harlowe Seagroves

Selma – James Harlowe “Jimmy” Seagroves, age 69, died Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at his home. Born June 17, 1948 in Wake County he was a son of the late Eugene H. and Lorraine Nipper Seagroves. Jimmy was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church in Smithfield.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 7, 2018 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Tucker officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Sunday just prior to the service.

Surviving are his wife, Brenda M. Seagroves of the home; daughter, Wendy Seagroves Buchanna and husband Wesley of Aiken, SC; brothers, Sunny Seagroves and wife Margaret of Archers Lodge, and Leroy Seagroves and wife Jayne of Holly Springs; and grandson, Malcolm Buchanna.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Way of Life Baptist Church Youth Fund, 2129 Harmony Court, Clayton, NC 27520.
