Jesus A Flores: April 13, 1960 - August 14, 2023 The Family of Jesus A Flores (Jesse) are sad to announce his death, he was surrounded by family at VBMC a few days before the final goodbye. Jesse was the son of Evaristo Flores and Esther Garcia Flores. He retired from Southwest Airlines after many years of faithful service as a Sr. Software engineer for the company.
Jesse is survived by His Father Evaristo Flores, His wife Linda L. Flores, his Son Jayce A Flores, Siblings: Sylvia Muniz(Jesse-Chuy Muniz), Sandra Garcia(Orlando-Willie Garcia) and Sonia Rincones(Alex Rincones), Step daughters: Brittany DiBattista and Brooke Janson(Drew Janson). Nephews/Nieces: Eric, Michael and Shavaun Muniz, Jason and Jake Flores, Ventura, Sielo and Sol Garcia, Savannah Nelson. Grandchildren Jordan Baker, Marlee DiBattista and Scout Janson
He is preceded in Death by his Mother Esther Flores and his brother Agapito(Pete) Flores.
Visitation services will be held at Trinity funeral Chapel in Harlingen, Texas, on Saturday August 19th from 1-9 pm. Cremation to follow.

My condolences to the Flores family. I too worked with Jesse and he was an easy person to like. Smiling, helpful, honest, caring, smart. I especially loved the way when there was a work problem he was there to help fix things, he had an enormous desire to make his Customers and friends happy. I’m glad he got to move out of Dallas and to be close to family. I wish he had gotten more time to enjoy retirement and to spread his brand of happiness all around him. Rest in Peace Jesse, you have many here on Earth who miss you and remember the good man you were.

Jesse was one of the very first Southwest employees to introduce me to their "Friday Flight Deck" happy hours back in the early 2000´s. Regret, that we never kept up after retiring. I had the honor and pleasure of working with Jesse for many years at Southwest. He was my customer in the people dept for a few years and then he moved to Technology and to our team. He was a very welcome member and we became friends as well. I spoke with him several times after my retirement and we shared many fun memories working together. Rest In Peace my friend. Linda, even though we never had the pleasure of meeting please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and all your family for your loss. He was a good man.

Sorry to hear about Jesse's passing. We had worked together at Southwest for around 20 years until his retirement and move to Harlingen area. Very sad news as he had just begun his post-work years and seemed to be enjoying living near his family and the beach. He and I had some good times on a SWA fishing trip many years ago in Port A. with Scott's Team from SWA. Gone too soon. My condolences to his extended family and friends.
