John Daniel Stuart of Azle passed away on March 21, 2020.
Due to the current health crisis the Funeral will be private.
The family will be remembering him at White’s Funeral home in Azle Thursday afternoon on March 26th.
John was an Air Force Veteran, former deputy sheriff for Greene County Arkansas, retired Air Traffic Controller and Instructor. JD was active in the community, Vice President of Azle’s Volunteers in Police Service, a member of Planning and Zoning Commission, and on the Crime Control and Prevention District Board. At the time of his death, he was actively running for a place on the Azle City Council, committed to improving the lives of his neighbors.
JD loved his family and friends above all else. Whether through laughter or direct help, he supported everyone without ever asking for a thing in return. If you were in need, he was a phone call away, always. His wife called him a brat, but he insisted he’s a stinker. He got the last word in, as usual.
He was preceded in death by his Mother, Shirley; and Granddaughter, Sloane.
JD leaves behind his adored wife, Susan; children, Andrea, Stephanie, Chris and wife, Cally, Courtney and husband, Jacob, and refrigerator raider, Ryan; sisters, Joanne, Bobbie, Mary, and Barbara; grandchildren, Kaleigh, Keaton, Kailyn, Zooey, Jaxon and the twins who will learn to love him through family and friends.

I worked many years beside my fellow USAF veteran, "Essssss Beee," while we were both at the Fort Worth Air Route Traffic Control Center. It's a shame that our current situation precludes a large gathering, but John will never be forgotten - that's for sure. He will always remain in the memories of those with whom he worked airplanes. I pray God's comfort for his family.

I worked with John at the Air Traffic Control Center and evening trained him some. He was always the sweetest person and yes, he liked to get the last word in.
I pray his family finds peace with his passing and remembers all the good times with him.
