Jose Salazar, Jr., 79, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 30, 2015.
Mr. Salazar proudly worked as a registered nurse at Mercy Hospital of Laredo; surgery department, and at Laredo Kidney Center.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Urbina Salazar, Sr.; brother Agapito Salazar; sisters, Hortencia Paredes, and Santos Hernandez.
He is survived by his wife Juanita Idalia Salazar; sons, Jose M. (Adriana) Salazar, Francisco Javier Salazar; daughters, Elsa Salazar and Linda D. Salazar. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez from 5 to 9 in the evening. A Rosary will be recited at 7 in the evening.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 6, 2015 departing the funeral home at 8 a.m. to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 8:30 a.m.
Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
