Larry was one of those extraordinary people who did an amazing amount of good, and touched the lives of so many people, including me. He was certainly an example of a "life well lived". My thoughts are with his family and all of his friends. May he rest in peace.

I remember Larry when I was a kid when he lived in the stone house on 9N in Greenfield. Then later in life at Camp Saratoga. Always the nicest and most helpful gentleman I knew. May he RIP!

I first met Larry at the Armer farm on Goode Rd., back around 1946. We remained friends through life and sometimes classmates. I enjoyed the friendship with his mother, sisters and his brother Jan. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife, children and entire family. He gave so much of himself to so many.

I knew Larry through our mutual participation in volunteer wilderness search and rescue activities. We met often on searches. His knowledge and leadership earned him the respect of all of us, volunteers and DEC professionals, who worked with him. He was always cheerful, calm, and good-humored. He set a standard that few of us equalled. Thank you, Larry, and godspeed.

Larry was the only man that could make my father act and sound like a "little boy". I will miss his stories, his laugh and his smile. I remember riding through Scout Camp with him and helping Dad build the addition on his house.
Much love and deepest sympathies to his family.
