Martha Brazeale Obituary
Martha Ann Bailey Brazeale, 87, of Moultrie, GA, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the Fellowship Home of Cotton Hill in Cuthbert.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Pastor Dwight Dunn, Rev. Wayne Woods, and Brother Billy Hanna officiating. Entombment will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Cobb Funeral Chapel. Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and masks are recommended.
Born July 10, 1933 in Abbyville, AL, she was the daughter of the late John William Moore and Lonnie Bailey Moore. Mrs. Brazeale was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Moultrie. She loved her family, her dog Fay Fay, enjoyed bingo, sewing, and sending cards. She loved the color red and enjoyed volunteering and working at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Brazeale; son, Jay Brazeale; daughter, Renee Brazeale; grandchildren, Jeremiah Cothran and J.D. Avera; sister, Doris Bratcher.
Survivors include her children, Rick Brazeale and wife Karola of Wesley Chapel, FL, Kaye Tyson and husband Sonny of Norwood, NC, Faye Avera and husband Jerald of Georgetown, GA, Darryl Brazeale and wife Krista of Valdosta, GA; grandchildren, Christine Horton, Stefanie Feazell and husband Troy, Jennifer Avera, Chad White and wife Kristyn, Rae Brazeale, Tara Ballard and husband Brandon, Tiffany Jones and husband Eric, Leslie Solarek and husband Greg; great-grandchildren, Tyler Horton, Holden Nall, Maryland Nall, Leeah Austin, Sunni Rae Sinkler, Blake Ballard, Stella Jones, Sadie Jones, Palmer Solerek, Makenzie Feazell, and Hayden Feazell; brothers, Rex Moore and wife Janis of Prattville, AL, Ken Moore and wife Barbara of Ellerslie, GA; four great-great-grandchildren.
The family request that any memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice in Mrs. Martha Brazeale’s name.

Martha was always such a sweet lady. I met her and Ray through my neighbors Bud and Shirley Nesbit. They loved riding motorcycles together. She later worked in guest service at Colquitt Regional and every night I went to work I was greeted by her sweet smile and kind words. Prayers for her family.
