Mary Doris Caves McKinnon died Friday, May 31, 2013. Funeral services will be private.
Mrs. McKinnon graduated from Hillsborough High School in Tampa, Florida and loved to read. She was a doll maker, a seamstress, and one of the best cooks. She loved her family very much. She was predeceased by her parents, James Caves and Evelyn Lena Gresham Caves, her sisters, Jo Ann Perry (Jimmy) and Thelma Alexander (Charles) and a grandchild, Autumn McKinnon.
Mrs. McKinnon is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert G. McKinnon of Macon; 4 children: Linda DeFreitas (Walter) of Seffner, Florida, Michael McKinnon (Dorine) of Lutz, Florida, Tiffany McKinnon (Alton Floyd) of Macon, and James McKinnon (Angela Burroughs) of Macon; 6 grandchildren: Kenneth DeFreitas of Brandon, Florida, Charlotte Rau (Jeremiah) of Seffner, Florida, Amber Moore (Neal) of Lakeland, Florida, Daniel Floyd of Eastman, Hannah Nier of Macon, and Bailey McKinnon of Macon; 2 great grandchildren: Macey DeFreitas and Karlee DeFreitas, both of Brandon, Florida; niece, Lynn Patterson (Steve) of Tampa; great niece, Kristyn Sage (Michael) of Tampa; and great nephew, James Patterson of Tampa, and other nieces and nephews.
