Paul J. Suhy

Paul J. Suhy, 92, of White Oak, died Monday, October 5, 2015. He was born July 1, 1923 in United and was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Bendik Suhy. He was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and the White Oak American Legion Post 701. Paul was a Mechanical Engineer and was retired from US Steel National Tube Works. He was an US Army Air Force veteran of WWII and was a Army Air Cadet and Navigator. He is survived by his wife, Judy Rosella Presock Suhy, daughters, Paula J. (Glenn) Hickman and Barbara A. Krepp of Niles, OH, and Suzanne M. (Vincent) Mesiarik-Golik of Elizabeth Twp., son, James P. (Scott) Suhy of Gibsonia, brother, John V. Suhy of Monongahela, 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, John Suhy and sister, Mary Valecko. Friends are welcome Thursday, October 8 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Catholic Church on Friday, October 9 at 10:00 AM, with The Rev. Michael Maranowski, officiating.
