Robert “Bob” Clark, beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, transitioned from an earthly body to his heavenly home in the evening hours of Wednesday, February 27, 2019 due to complications from a recent illness. Bob was born on December 24, 1955 to The Late Terrell Clark and The Late Lamona Clark in Martinsville, VA. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Clark and Cliff Clark.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Vickie Clark of the home; brothers Mike Clark (Burtis) of Anniston, Alabama, Gene Clark (Becky) of Mt. Airy, N.C., sister Mona Leigh Bernhardt (Dewayne) of Spring, Texas; daughters Suzanne Turner (John) and Emily Clark; grandchildren Seth, Lauren, and Elizabeth Turner and Alyssa Shively; special canine companion, Bubba, and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Bob was of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed the finer things in life such as good food, woodworking, and golf as well as spending time with family and friends, which he cherished. Bob had a sense of humor that may be considered unmatched. He always seemed to find some type of humor out of any situation which ultimately resulted in either breaking the tension of the situation or bringing a smile to anyone’s face, or both. Bob will be missed by all that knew him but we all know that he is rejoicing with the Lord and loved ones who have gone before him.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in his name to your local food bank or a charity of your choice.

Bob
I will never forget our talks at your house when we were suppose to be "working" but we somehow always found the time to take a break and drink a Coke and have some of the most interesting, memorable talks about life, love and the love he had for his wife, children and grandkids. You left me with some great memories and a chance to have met a great man! I'm gonna miss you buddy.
