Robert Fauci Obituary
Funeral service will be held at the Bastrop Providence Funeral home on August 12th with viewing beginning at 11 AM, and funeral service at Noon.
Robert was born in San Diego, CA, to Robert Fauci Sr. and Gertrude Fauci on October 19th, 1962. He graduated from Richardson High School before setting out for his naval career. Robert married his high school sweetheart Patricia Delfeld Fauci and they were approaching their 35th wedding anniversary. He was the father of three wonderful children. Robert was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving with distinction for 20 years before his retirement as a First-Class Petty Officer in 2003. After his retirement from uniformed service, he served the Great State of Texas Comptroller's Office and later joined Travis County as an Information Systems Technician.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Kim Fauci-Counts. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; his daughters, Jessica and Amanda; son, Robert III and his wife, Frances; brothers, Rodger, and Richard; sister, Donna; his parents, Robert Fauci Sr. and Alice (Gertrude) Hennion; and grandchildren, Colten and Robert IV.
The surviving family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Steve Prue and Mary Rubio for their strength and generosity assisting the families.

Bob was one of the most caring and geniune souls I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was always quick with a smile and kind word. He also had a knack for putting things into perspective and making you see what mattered and, more importantly, what didn't. Over the years Bob shared innumerable nuggets of wisdom both with me and our team and I hope his humility did not prevent him from knowing how much of an impact he had upon our lives. I cherish our time together and lament that there could not have been more of it.
Bob was truly one of a kind, a man in every sense of the word, and I admire him greatly. I hope that some day I will feel that I have truly have earned the respect that he so freely gave. Thank you so much for sharing him with us.

My Dearest Fauci Family: I am so sorry for the loss of Bob. Tricia, you and Bob were always so kind and wonderful to me along with Robert, Amanda and Jessica. The best neighbors I ever had. I loved working with Bob at the Comptroller's office and getting eggs from him. And he always had a "next project" he wanted to start--probably involving "concrete". My love always to all of you.
