Ross B. Wright, 88, of Orleans, VT passed away on August 2, 2020 in Barton, VT. He was born on March 31, 1932 in Orleans, VT to the late Burton and Laura (Mailot) Wright. On May 30, 1953 he married Barbara Herman who survives him.
Ross worked in the rough mill at Ethan Allen for 35 years. He enjoyed riding around on his lawnmower, growing tomatoes, and loved being with his family.
He is also survived by his children Rossann Wright, Allan Wright and his wife Danielle, and Terry Wright, grandchildren Sara and Ron, James, Jared, Amanda and Kevin, Jeremy and Kayla, great grandchildren Trevin, Sean, Evelyn, and Eli. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his infant daughter Beverly Ann, sisters Geraldine Berry, Elaine Danforth, and Frances Rice.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday August 6, 2020 at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Orleans with Pastor Bruce Fletcher officiating. Memorial contributions in Ross’s name may be made to the Orleans Emergency Unit, C/O Dot Collier, 1327 Dry Pond Road, Glover, VT 05839. Online condolences may be made at curtis-britch.com. ross was such a nice person always laughing and telling jokes. I worked with ross for at least 30 yrs in rough mill, enjoyed it all. My sympathy is extended to ross ann, alan and terry.

It's been said many times that 'God only takes the best'. Ross was one of the best. I will always remember the huge smile he would have when he saw me.
