Sgt. Brandon McCoy Obituary
He is survived by his wife, Alicia D. Myers-McCoy; two daughters, Carson Mariea (11) and Natalie Hope (7); his parents, Rodger Jr. and Cynthia McCoy of Washington, DC; his grandmother, Erma Holmes of Richmond, VA, a sister, Veda McCoy of Washington, DC; a brother, Justen A. McCoy, Sr., his wife Precious and their four sons of District Heights, MD; his in-laws Wanda and Robert Myers of Portsmouth, VA and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Monday, April 2, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church, 2117 London Blvd., Portsmouth, VA 23704. Burial will follow in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel on Saturday and Sunday evening from 5 - 9 PM.
The family is asking that in lieu of flowers, donations please be made to the Sgt. Brandon McCoy Memorial Fund at any Navy Federal Credit Union. The access number is #6359024 and this money will be to benefit his children.
