Thomas Winslow Obituary
Thomas “Tommy” Floyd Winslow, 79, of Trinity, Texas passed away June 7, 2023, at 2:45 pm of
a brief illness at Huntsville Memorial Hospital. He was born March 12, 1944, in Houston, TX to
Luther and Vivian “Blanche” Winslow.
Tommy is survived by his devoted wife of almost 50 years, Reba Winslow, formerly Reba Fikes
of Corpus Christi, TX; and 4 children, daughter Cheryl Downing-Sweat, and son’s Barry W.
Downing married to Danielle of Benton, Arkansas, Michael Winslow married to Kathy of New
Caney, TX, and Charles Winslow married to Mindy of Nacogdoches, TX. As well as six
grandchildren Brandon Turner of Chicago IL; Brittany Winslow of Magnolia, TX; Donald
“Brett” Salee of Houston, TX; Brian Downing of Virginia Beach, VA; Jami Salee of Huntsville,
TX; and Dalton Winslow of New Caney, TX. Plus, great grandchildren, Lana Downing; Alexis
Downing; Barry Downing; Thomas Downing; Shelby Labay; and Harlow Winslow. In addition
to a sister Vivian Pickett of Splendora, TX.
Tommy was a carpenter and painter by trade and enjoyed making furniture. He loved to fish on
Lake Trinity during his retirement with his bride, children, and grandchildren. He will be dearly
missed by his family.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the American Heart Association or
the American Cancer Society in the name of Thomas F. Winslow and Family.

Oh my goodness Reba, my heart aches for your loss. Tommy and you were on my mind and heart so much the past few days. The Lord impressed on me to search the internet for you and Tommy.
