Peace be with all the Mattingly Family Remember the good old days when we were in school at New Hope

January 13, 2016

I can remember way back before cell phones, Tommy would come to our classroom window in grade school if he had something he needed to say to Sheila, he would just knock on the window. In later years I would see him at the Corner Gas Station and he would speak to us every time and call us by name. Sheila, you and your family are in our prayers!!!

My favorite memories of Tommy was at the Mattingly Brothers Sunoco. He was always very kind and patient to me and helped with my many Ford and Chevrolet mechanical questions when I lived across the road in Loretto. I also remembered that he was always friendly and would speak no matter when or where I might see him. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the service, but know that all of the family will be in my prayers and that you have my heartfelt condolences for your loss.
