Home going service for Mr. Travis Denard Gordon who passed away on Thursday June 2, 2016 will be held on Saturday June 18, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Joy Tabernacle Cathedral, 2716 N. 34th Street, Tampa, Florida with Chief Apostle Clarence E. Davis, Pastor with Elder Ronald Thomas, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, Tampa, FL.
Mr. Gordon was preceded in death by his mother, Iri Senatus; grandparents, Ruth Actable, Cleveland Tinsley, Jr. and uncle, Trease Antwan Tinsley.
Travis was a very loving husband, father and brother to his family. He leaves to cherish precious memories of him with his wife, Candice R. Gordon; son, Travis D. Cordon, Jr.; his father, Roy Gordon; sisters, LaTanya Tinsley and Brittney Stewart; brothers, Trava Brown and Jarvis Gordon; aunts, Tanya Brown and Ann Clarke; uncles, Victor Brown, Tracey Tinsley and Keith Tinsley; his loving nieces and nephews, Trava, Antwan, Jalin, Christin, Isiah, Destiny, Antaleya, Asia, Meya; a host of loving cousins; sister and brothers-in-law, Antiowna Calhoun, Lee Calhoun and Anthony Ford and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends. You will always be in our hearts Travis Gordon.
Travis Denard Gordon was born in Tampa, Florida on May 5, 1977 to the parentage of Roy Gordon and Iri Senatus. He was a resident of Tampa all of his life.
Travis graduated from Road Masters Truck Driving School and he later earned his hazmat license. He was employed with Dillions Transportation.
