Vincent James Bruno, age 30, of Elmwood Park, passed away unexpectedly Sunday Sept. 8, beloved son of the late Joseph Bruno and Debra Knutsen; loving and caring brother of Nicholas (Lauren) Bruno, dearest nephew of Pam (Bill) Schueler, Jeff (Doris) Knutsen, Cynthia Bruno, Michael (Ann) Bruno and Cheryl (Joseph Melone; fond cousin of Michelle (Jamie) Wild, Jason, Stephanie (Scott) Hein, Amanda, Jamie Knutsen, Lisa Schueler, Scott (Ashley) Schueler; cherished Godfather of Kai. Compassionate friend of many, Vince loved motorcycles, cars, bowling and traveling. Visitation at the Skaja Terrace Funeral Home 7812 N. Amazing person and an amazing soul. A room wouldnt be mellow with you in it. Life took me off path for a while and we all lost touch but when you reached out in December it was like we never stopped. Man I do not know where to begin. Im terribly saddened to hear of your passing. I truly cant believe it! I know we lost touch in the later years as our paths drifted apart, however, I do and always will have our awesome childhood memories from the Mills days when we used to play ball in the alley to chilling at your house after school everyday, to tearing up the neighborhood and our dads laying into us for being knuckle heads. I wouldnt trade any of these memories bro I really wouldnt! You touched the lives in a positive way of everyone who knew you and had the privelage of having you as a friend! I know you loved your family deeply, especially Nicky! You always gave him hell but you wouldnt let anyone else and I consider that love. To Debbie and Nicky, My deepest prayers and condolences to both of you and your entire family as you go through these hard times.
