I had not seen my uncle for several years, but he and all of you were and still are in constant prayer. Uncle Marvell was very funny. He had a captivating smile and had no problem telling you just how he felt. He loved gardening and I don't mean flowers. I once told him I loved to garden and he asked what kind of plants did I grow. When I started mentioning flowering plants, he told me "if you can't eat what you grow, that is not gardening." (smile) May you be at peace knowing how much he was loved.

Dennis, Vera and Ella Ruth: I have known you all for such a long time. I have very fond memories of you all. The obituary was right, Marvell had a good sense of humor. I can remember WAY back, to us being in Glenn Nunnally's book study and me begging to hold Vera. My heart goes out to each of you and the rest of your cousins and other family members. You have an awesome family and I love you all.
remember, the Bible does not say we are not and should not grieve, it simply states we won't grieve like a person would that has no hope. Embrace each other, share the fun memories you have growing up on Thorne Street and the loving father and mother Jehovah blessed you with.
