Joyce Miller

Joyce Miller Homer Joyce Miller, age 85 of Homer passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at the V.A. Medical Center in Battle Creek, Michigan. He was born in 1927 to Green and Georgie Ann Miller in Waldo, Kentucky. In 1948 he married Loretta Risner who survives. Joyce was in the Army during Korean conflict. He had worked for Union Steel for 30 years before his retirement. He was an avid member of Christ Apostolic Church, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on small engines, watching his grandkids play sports and just being with all of his grandkids. Joyce is survived by his wife, Loretta Miller of Homer; daughters, Cheryl (Ralph) Connor of Martin, Tennessee, Roxanne Ellsworth of Homer, Sheila (Walt) Mansfield of Homer, Jill (Andrew) Richards of Pittsford; son, Ron Miller of Homer; 14 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Rose Castle of Waldo, Kentucky, Eva Marie Bailey of Princeton, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, sisters, granddaughter Carolyn Connor and a great grandchild Sierra Ellsworth Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, November 9, 2012 from 2:00-4:00 P.M. and 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, MI. 49224. Funeral Service will be Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 12:00 P.M. at the Christ Apostolic Church, 501 N. Superior Street, Albion, Michigan 49224 with Pastor David Trammell officiating. Burial will be at Albion Memory Gardens, Albion, Michigan. Assistance with Memorial Contributions to: V.A.
