Leo J. Bradstreet

Leo J. Bradstreet Bedford, Texas Leo James "Jim" Bradstreet, 80, of Bedford, Texas, died December 7, 2012. He was born July 17, 1932 the son of Leo and Florence (Roatch) Bradstreet in Climax. Jim proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during Korea. Jim will be remembered as a family man. He spent time with his children and grandchildren doing many activities, including yearly family vacations and camping trips around the country. He enjoyed playing games including bowling, many types of card games, and Pacman. He is survived by his wife, Joan Bradstreet of Battle Creek; son, James Bradstreet of Battle Creek; daughter, Sharon (Terry) Huecker of Bedford, TX; sisters, Vera Case, Leta Hynes, Erma Hoskin, Evelyn Laing and Linda Tramel; step-sons, David(Vonnie) Bell and Chip (Charlotte) Bell; step-daughter, Linda Roche; grand children, Eric Huecker, Jennifer (Scott) Cottle, Brian Huecker, and Charista Huecker all of Texas; several step-grand and great-grand children. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; infant twin sons, Larry and Jerry; brothers, Bill and David Bradstreet; sisters, Lee-Ella Ashley and Lois Jean Bradstreet. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Shaw Funeral Home. A second visitation will take place at Cornerstone Community Church from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. with services following at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2012 with Pastor Eric Perry officiating.
