Robert "Bob" Eugene Donovan, 70, went to be with the Lord after years of struggling with Pulmonary Fibrosis on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at the Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall, MI. He was born on March 9, 1943, the son of Melburn Ray Donovan and Mary Alice (Tuttle) Taylor.

Bob was a graduate of Marshall High School. He was a machine operator for Eaton Mfg.

Bob is survived by his Mother; his Daughter: Sheryl (Arthur) Taggart of Anchorage, AK; Step-Son: Randy Donovan of PA; Granddaughter: Samantha (David Severson) Taggart of Anchorage, AK; Sister: Gloria (Gerald) Winton of Dowling, MI; Brothers: Larry Donovan of Battle Creek, MI, Lee Lapham of San Benito, TX and Rick Lapham of Bismarck, AR. He was preceded in death by his Father.

He enjoyed motorcycles and loved airplanes. He flew his own Ultralite airplane. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tekonsha, MI. Bob found Jesus and his entire life was changed. He served the Lord and trusted God for his salvation. He would want everyone to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior and to make heaven their home.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Tekonsha First Baptist Church, 914 N. Main Street, on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 10 a.m. with Pastor Ryan Perry officiating.Memorials tributes may be made to: Tekonsha First Baptist Church.
