Eloise M. Rogers

Eloise M. Rogers Battle Creek Eloise M. Rogers, 87, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at her home in Battle Creek. She was born February 14, 1923 in Battle Creek, MI the daughter of Orlie O. and Hilda M. (Stevens) Wixson. She married Robert R. Rogers on August 8, 1939 in Battle Creek and he preceded her in death on May 7, 1984. Eloise was a store manager for Baker Brothers Cleaners for 32 years. She enjoyed spending quality time with family. Eloise was a homemaker; she liked to do crafts at home. Eloise volunteered at the Battle Creek Cancer Center, Charitable Union, and Burnham Brook. She is survived by her son, Richard Rogers of White Pigeon; grandchildren, Ranah (Mark) Harmon, Merel (Betty) Hoard, Robert (Heather) Rogers; great grandchildren, Amy Gillespie, Kasey St. Claire, Justin Hoard, Hailey Rogers, and Mac Rogers. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter-in-law, Bertha Rogers; brothers, George J., Nelson, Omer, Richard and Gene Wixson. Visitation will be held at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service on Thursday from 4 - 7 p.m. Graveside services will be held Friday, 11:00 a.m. at Bedford Cemetery. Burial will be in Bedford Cemetery.
