Walter J. "Jim" Roy Walter J. "Jim" Roy, 66, died Thursday, November 4, 2010. He was born August 5, 1944 in Battle Creek, the son of Walter C. and Audrey R. (Drake) Roy. Jim was a 1962 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School and had retired from the Navy. He is survived by brother: Jack Roy, Battle Creek; 2 sisters: Maryellen Wilkey, Battle Creek, Nancy Lehman, Battle Creek and many nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held Monday, 9:00 a.m. at the Bachman Hebble Funeral services 223 N. Bedford Rd. Funeral services will be held Monday, 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Battle Creek. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the charity of ones choice.
