Robert "Bob" "Mac" McMillan

Our dear friend Robert "Bob" "Mac" McMillan passed away in his home on April 3, 2014.  He was born June 15, 1955 in Battle Creek, MI.  He attended Lakeview High School; graduating in 1973.  He went to college at Michigan State University and was employed by Prudential Ins. Co.  Later, he was the bartender for many years at The Dolphin Lounge in Battle Creek.  It was literally a place where everyone knew your name.  Bob always had a smile on his face for everyone that walked through the door.   The Dolphin employees/customers miss him dearly.

He was a friend to many of his 1973 classmates and the 1972 class as well; and many more.  If you were friends with Bob, then you know that he was kind, generous and a loving soul.  He was lots of fun.  He enjoyed music and attended many concerts.  We hope that he knows how much we miss and love him.

Bob lost his Mother, Joanne Louise (Thomson) McMillan October 6, 1988, a very loving woman.  His father, Albert McMillan passed away on September 30, 2012.  Bob was a loving son to both of his parents.  His father became ill, and Bob moved back to his childhood home to care for him.  He was grateful to spend this time with his Father.  Hopefully, they are once again united.

Bob, you are missed by all of us.  You left us far too soon.  We bet you are listening to some amazing music up there in Heaven.  Tell Jimi and Janis we say hi!!!!!!  Your loving and many friends.
