Aaron M. Frey


Aaron M. Frey, 45, of Burlington, died suddenly on Monday, October 26, 2015 at his home.

A celebration of Aaron's life will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation, located just west of Arbogast Road on M-60, in Union City. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Saturday, beginning at 10:00 A.M., also at the Lighthouse.

Aaron was born on January 4, 1970 in Lewiston, New York to Blair F. and Jeanette (Rothe) Frey. He graduated from Wilson Central High School in 1988 and went on to community college, where he earned degrees in blacksmithing and landscaping. He joined the amateur rodeo circuit at the age of 18 and continued to ride until about the age of 40. The rodeo took him to many places and he finally settled down in Michigan about 7 years ago. He spent a short time in the Detroit area before moving to Burlington.

Aaron was a hardworking man. A care-free, happy and genuine cowboy. He married Debrah R. (Gray) Baker on May 25, 2013 in Montpelier, OH. He loved his girls and was a great father to them over the past few years. He is survived by his wife, Debbie, his daughters Rae Baker-Frey, age 15 and Madison Baker-Frey, age 11, all of Burlington, his mother Jeanette Rothe of Paintsville, KY, his brothers Michael Frey of WY and Daniel Frey of KY, his in-laws Helen (Steve) Mason of OH and his close friend Greg Delisle of Union City.  He was preceded in death by his father.
