Aurelia L. Purucker
Battle Creek
Aurelia L. Purucker, age 91 of Battle Creek passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, July 13, 2016. She was born January 19, 1925 to Harry and Myrna (Heckman) Wallace in Albion, Michigan. She married Harry Mathias Purucker who survives.
Aurelia always put her family first. The majority of her time was spent on loving, supporting and nurturing her family. She had a fond love for her children, grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Aurelia was known for being a great cook, making pies and cakes from scratch. Her pastries and noodles were amazingly delicious. She enjoyed the craft of crocheting and spending numerous hours at bingo. She was also an avid Wheel of Fortune fan.
Aurelia was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Myrna Wallace, one son, Larry Fogg, one daughter, Barbara Jean Turner, brothers, Samuel, Thomas and Michael Wallace and one sister, Emma May Collins.
Aurelia leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 57 years, Harry Purucker, two sons, Duane Fogg and Neil (Philip) Fogg, of Battle Creek, one daughter, Sheri (Greg) Rees and a host of wonderful grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 11:00AM until 12:00PM at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 16th at 12:00PM (NOON) at the funeral home with Pastor Douglas Fleury officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Albion.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family or Bronson at Home Hospice, 165 N. Washington, Battle Creek, MI 49037.

Aurelia was an amazing person. Over the years, we had never heard a bad thing about her. She will be truly missed, but is now healed and no longer in pain. Heaven has received one of the best. Thank you Aurelia for letting us know you and Harry. You will never be forgotten. Love and miss you.
