Carol passed away March 10, 2015, at Bronson Battle Creek.  Carol was born June 8, 1938, in Faith, South Dakota, the daughter of William A. and Pauline (Sperle) Smith.  A benefit specialist, for Guardian Incorporated for many years, Carol enjoyed playing bingo and bunco, puzzles, going to the casinos, and flower and vegetable gardening and she would always can the vegetables for family and friends. Always cooking and baking; she will be remembered for her homemade goodies. Carol also enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and all of the new babies in the family would receive a crocheted blanket. Most of all Carol loved spending time with her family and friends.

On April 2, 1955, Carol married the love of her life, Aloyisous (Gene) Deibert, who survives. Carol is also survived by her children: Paula (Thomas) McGhee, Barbara Noteboom, Donald Deibert, Marilyn (Robert Whaley) Dawe, James (Darla) Deibert, and Crystal (Steven) Green; a sister: Kathleen Krank; twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers: Leo, William, and Robert, and her sisters: Dolores, Vernice, and Louella.

Carol's family will receive friends, Monday, March 16, 2015, 1:00 - 2:00 PM at the Williams-Gores Funeral Home, Delton; where her Memorial Service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Pastor Jeff Worden officiating.
