Duane Harger Obituary

Duane C. Harger Battle Creek Duane C. Harger, 81 of Battle Creek, died Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at V. A. Medical Center. He was born August 10, 1930 in Kalamazoo the son of Clarence R. and Margaret (Findley) Harger. He joined the U.S. Army serving in W. W. II, and the Korean War. Duane was a prospector and he also owned and operated the Harger's Tree Service. He is survived by his wife Betty, two daughters, Diane K. (Bobby) Bradstreet, Becky Wilson both of Battle Creek, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and his brother, Donald Harger. Duane was preceded in death by his son, Duane C. Harger Jr. No visitation is planned, a graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 12, 2011 at Bedford Cemetery, Bedford, MI, Friends who wish may make a memorial contribution to family. Arrangements are by the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home. Personal remembrances may be made at www.farleyestesdowdle.com.
