Esther L. "Louise" Wadsworth

Quincy

Esther L. "Louise" Wadsworth, age 100,  died Monday (6-22-15) at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility in Coldwater.  Born March 30, 1915 in Battle Creek MI, she was the daughter of Raymond E. and Elizabeth (Strole) Puffer.  Louise was a member of the Quincy United Methodist Church and the Quilting Club.  She loved quilting and making miniatures for doll houses.

Survivors include 4 daughters, Mary Weller of Harrison; Ann (Gerald) Ensign of Union City; Leona (Jay) Marshall of Union City; Shirley Woodman of Quincy;  3 sons, David Woodman of Kalamazoo; Jack Woodman of Battle Creek; Jerry Woodman of Quincy; 31 grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren, and 61 great-great-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Nancy (Ken) Carson of Oregon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 husbands (Sidney Woodman, Charlie Schaffer, Ralph Wadsworth); 1 daughter (Jenny Woodman); 2 sons (Raymond & Gary Woodman); and 3 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel, Quincy.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11:00 AM, at the funeral home with Pastor Julie Yoder Elmore officiating.  Interment will be in Center Eaton Cemetery, Charlotte.  Memorials are suggested to the or .
