Gail P. Boles, 67,  died at Bronson Battle Creek on Friday, September 6, 2013.

She was born in Battle Creek on July 29, 1946 to Emmett and Boni Belle (McIntyre) Herrington.  Gail was a 1964 graduate of Pennfield High School and attended Kellogg Community College.  On their Barry County farm, she and her husband raised beef cattle and horses. 

Gail married David M. "Mike" Boles in 1966 and celebrated 47 years of marriage in February 2013.  Surviving are her husband, Mike; daughter, Kelly (Rob) Boles Chapman and son, Mark (Mindi) Boles all of Bellevue; four grandchildren, Hallie Boles, Riley Boles, MacKenzie Chapman and Reece Chapman; a brother, Lance (Pam) Herrington of LaGrange, TX; and a special cousin, Toni (Leo) Dzuiban of Hastings; several brother- and sister-in-laws to whom she was close: Beth (Mike) Melton of Plano, TX; Jim & Pat Boles, Patricia & Hank Teunessen; Linda & Jack Wollaston, and Teresa Sinclair; and many nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Holli (Terry) Borgman of Bellevue.  Gail was preceded in death by her parents.

Gail enjoyed her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She loved mowing her lawn, raking hay, and working in her extensive garden.  Gail was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and the American Paint Horse Association, and she was the breeder of many successful show horses.
