Genevieve Petroshus Obituary

Genevieve Petroshus Genevieve Petroshus, age 90, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010 in Brewster,.Ohio. She was born on Oct 31, 1919 in Chicago, Ill. and moved to Battle Creek, Mich. in 1956, where she was employed by Michigan Bell Telephone. After retirement, she and husband Frank, moved to Ft. Myers, Fla. He preceded her in death in 1997 after several years of loving care. Mrs. Petroshus is survived by sons, Tim (April) of Brewster Ohio, and Frank (Shirley) of Onsted Michigan; grandchildren, Aimee, Heather, Chad, Ryan; great-grandchildren, Abigail, Alyssa, Allison, Molly, Braedon, Luke, Brayden and Gavin; and several nieces and nephews including Goddaughter Mary Jo Petroshus of Battle Creek and Godson Doug Smalla of Allegan. A memorial service will be held at St. Phillip Catholic Church in Battle Creek at noon on Saturday, November 6. She will be interred with her late husband in Ft. Myers Florida. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Mercy Hospice of Brewster Ohio would be appreciated.
