Gerald C. Fuller, age 87, was born in Lee Township on January 6, 1928 and went to heaven at Bronson At Home Hospice Residence in Battle Creek with family present May 10, 2015.

He married Cynthia Lenore Bornor and they shared their life for 61 years.  They were members of Lee Center Church.  His careers included running the family grocery store, Fuller's Grocery, where he sponsored teams at Rice Creek and 4 H activities.  He drove a bread truck, delivered mail and worked at Kellogg's Company being a member of the 25 years club.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman with many trips out west and to Canada.  Family vacations were spent showing his children the Untied States.  He and his wife continued to travel and wintered in Florida after his retirement.

Through his whole life he enjoyed attending his children's then grandchildren's then great grandchildren's sporting and other activities.  His home was always open to his family for activities including swimming in his pool.  He was always joking and picking on the kids and stories were shared with him at the hospice home.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Lenore in 2010.  He is survived by his sister, Marjorie Heisler-Marshall; son, Michael (Rose) Fuller; daughters, Martha (Doak) Breen and Maribeth (John) Helgesen; 7 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Wednesday May 13th at the Craig K. Kempf Family Funeral Homes, Marshall Chapel from 4 PM to 8 PM.  A funeral service will be held 11 AM Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Porter Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Bronson At Home Hospice Residence of Battle Creek.  Assistance with memorials is available at the funeral home.
