Glen Hudson Obituary

Glen E. Hudson Sr. Born February 13, 1940 in Wisconsin to Ivan P. and Harriet A. (Vanderhyden) Hudson. Glen has gone to be with his Lord on October 16, 2010. Glen married Edith (Ann) Elder in 1959. She preceded him in death in 1996. In 1998 he married Mavis Smith. He was preceded in death by sisters Delores Robinson and Betty Jimmerson, brothers Michael and Henry Hudson. He is survived by his wife Mavis, sons Glen (Andrea) Hudson Jr., Daniel Hudson, and daughters Rebecca Hudson, Melissa (Jeffrey) Miller; stepdaughters Terri (Richard) McLoud, Lilia Parra, 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings Joseph, Ivan, Lloyd (Claudette), Rex (Donna), Greg (Mary), Dorothy (Fred) Addison, Pat Vought, Mary Francisco and several nieces and nephews. Glen retired from several years as a drywall finisher/hanger in 2007. He enjoyed his family, friends, bowling, Nascar and his pets. According to Glen's wishes cremation has taken place. Cremation arrangements handled by Whitley Funeral Home in Kalamazoo, MI. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Wesleyan Church in Hickory Corners MI with Pastor Len Davis officiating.

Dear Mavis,Becky,Glen,Danny,Melissa I just want you all to know that Glen was so special in his own way to all of us. How I wish things things could have worked out differently. I know your dad/husband put up a great fight. Lets remember the good times and that good day he had in the hospital.My heart hurts for all. May God get all of you through this time of grief.
