Glenn Robbins Obituary

Glenn E. Robbins Battle Creek Glenn E. Robbins, 78, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at the Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence. He was born June 26, 1932 in Battle Creek, Michigan the son of Earl and Mary Mae (Friend) Franklin. Glenn was a 1951 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954. He worked at DeNooyer Chevrolet in the parts department for 32 years and retired from Harper Creek Schools on June 9, 2000 after 17 years in the transportation department. Glenn was a member of Eagles Aerie 299 and American Legion Post 54. Surviving are his sisters: Sue (Jim) Vaxter of Ceresco and Esther (Tom) Whitley of Marshall and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be directed to Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence or American Cancer Society.

Esther and Sue. So sorry to hear about Glen. I knew he was sick.We want to send our condolescents. Time goes by so quickly and some times we don't keep in touch with friends. We had a lot of good times together in the squad and other occasions. We are deeply sorry for your lost. May he rest in peace. Merry and Bob
