Kayla had attended Dexter Lake Church of God, where she had assisted with the Day Care Room and learned to sign language. Goad of Chattanooga, TN; numerous aunts and uncles especially Mike (Doris) Rose, Steve Harden and Robin Wood, all of Battle Creek; and many cousins, especially Michele Rose and Haley Parker. At the request of her family, friends will be received on Thursday, December 9th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, Battle Creek. The funeral service to celebrate Kayla's life will be held on Friday, December 10th at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Elder Herman May of Battle Creek, officiating. I was so shocked and saddened at the news of Kaylas's passing! She was a student of mine in middle school- a bright, cheerful soul who spoke what was on her mind! I would occasionally see her throughout the years, and she still was the same Kayla that we all knew and loved back then. My thoughts and prayers are certainly with you at this time.

I used to wait on Kayla a lot when she came to Wal-Mart what a joy her and her baby girls were. She always made me smile and stopped by to say hi whenever she came in I'm going to miss her smile and that twinkle in her eyes. She will be loved and missed always. To her family I am so sad for your loss what a beautiful soul she was and is. God bless you all. My prayers and heart go out to all of you.
