Lorraine Thora (Wilson) Flook, 87, of Battle Creek, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at the Oaks at North Pointe Woods. Lorraine was born on January 8, 1926 to Edwin R. and Thora (Ingvartsen) Wilson in Luck, WI. She graduated from Nashville High School in 1944. She married Mr. Jay L. Flook on February 28, 1946. They had one son Patrick. Lorraine was a hard and dedicated worker. Loraine worked at various jobs in the Battle Creek area including the Duplex Machine Company making ammunition during WWII. She then went to the Weston Biscuit Co. as an accounts receivable and payable clerk for over  30 years. Lorraine's favorite pass time was bowling. She bowled in a number of leagues in the Battle Creek area. During her bowling years she received many titles and awards. She was also a Junior League coach. Lorraine and her husband Jay enjoyed camping, fishing, and trips to Wisconsin to spend time with their son and grandchildren. In Lorraine's later years, she continued to work at various restaurants.

Lorraine is survived by her son Patrick (Noreen) of Sheboygan Falls, WI. Grandchildren Laura (Tom) VanDerPuy and Steven (Lisa) Flook. Great grandchildren Nicole, Jordan, Amber, Mason Meghan, and Kyle and one great great grandson Henry. She also leaves several nieces and other relatives. Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband Jay in 1988, her parents Thora and Edwin Wilson, in-laws Mabel and Austin Flook, brothers-in law Earl and James Flook, sisters-in-law Marion and Delores Flook, favorite aunt Hattie Ingvartsen, one niece Lou Ellen (Flook) Groh, plus other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel at Memorial Park Cemetery at 3:00pm, Thursday, December 19, 2013. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be given to the . The family of Lorraine would like to thank the staff at The Oaks at North Point Woods for their support and care over the past year and to the aides and nurses of Southern Care Hospice. Thanks also to her home caregiver and friend Cathy Davis. Arrangements are by Royal Funeral Home.
