Margaret Buskirk Obituary
Margaret E. Buskirk

Bellevue

Margaret E. Buskirk, 71,  passed away Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Eaton Community Palliative Care surrounded by her loving family.

Margaret was born on October 8, 1942 to George Frederick and Doris (Seeley) Pulford in Detroit, Michigan.  She attended Berkley High School in Detroit and graduated with the Class of 1961.  After high school she attended a trade school where she became a computer programmer.  She worked on the computers at Michigan Life Insurance Company once certified.  Later on Margaret worked for Schuler's Restaurant & Pub where she ran the laundry room for 14 years.

She married Larry R. Buskirk in Hazel Park, Michigan on September 26, 1981.  He preceded her in death on November 25, 2013.

Margaret loved her family.  She lived to spend as much time as she could with everyone.  She was always so interested in her family and would wait for them to get back from hunting to hear their stories and what they got or what got away!  She would go out fishing on the boat just to enjoy them and what they were doing.  Margaret was a great cook and she and her son, Scott would cook many meals together.  She did enjoy bowling on a league years ago with her mother and other family members in Detroit as well as in Marshall.  Margaret will be remembered as a big hearted person who was full of love and always (even when her health took a turn) had a smile on her face for everyone.

She is survived by her sons, Scott (Erica) Buskirk of Bellevue, Mike (Crystal) Florence of Battle Creek and Rob Florence of Orlando; brothers, Dave Pulford of Bellevue, George (Joan) Pulford of Hazel Park, Michigan, Dan (Vicky) Pulford of Orlando, Florida; sister, Rose (Gary) Stack of Orlando, Florida; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; her parents; and her brother, Ronald Pulford.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  The family would like to express that if you would like to do something in memory of Margaret to please make a memorial out to the Eaton Community Palliative Care.  Assistance with memorials is available at the Craig K. Kempf Family Funeral Homes, Marshall Chapel, 723 US 27 North, Marshall.  To leave the family a personal message please visit www.kempffuneralhome.com
