Mary Lou Frey Delton Mary Lou Frey, age 87, of Delton, died Tuesday January 29, 2013 at Borgess Medical Center. Mary Lou was born March 1, 1925 in Pennfield Township, to Robert and Myrtle (Palmiter) Huntington and lived in Battle Creek until moving to Wall Lake in 1995. Mary Lou was a 1942 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School and married James E. Frey on September 9, 1945. She had been employed by the American Marsh Pump Co., Michigan Livestock Yard and the Ralston's Credit Union. Mary Lou was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church of Battle Creek and attended Delton United Methodist Church, and the Susanna Church Circle. Mary Lou had been a 4H leader in Barry County, she enjoyed sewing, ping pong, playing cards, growing African Violets and especially spending time with her loving family. Mary Lou is survived by daughters, Sandra (Jack) Beatty of Battle Creek, Marilyn (David) Reynolds of Bellevue and Jane (Rick) Wilcockson of Delton, 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, a sister, Beverly (Gary) Watland of Merced, CA. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, James E. Frey, sisters, Norma Bachman, and Evelyn Weeks, brothers, Robert, Kenneth and Verne Huntington. The family will receive friends Friday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service, 223 N. Bedford Rd. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
