Michelle Scheibler Obituary
Michelle Ann Scheibler, (nee Scozzafava)

Chicago IL

Michelle Ann Scheibler, (nee Scozzafava) 38, of Chicago IL, died Sunday, October 2, 2016.

Born on December 5, 1977, she is survived by her husband Kevin Scheibler also of Chicago IL; children Jessalyn Genier and TJ Genier, Battle Creek, MI; parents Thomas R. and Mary Lou Scozzafava, Port Henry New York; sisters of Brenda LaPierre and Melissa Scozzafava, New York; Maternal Grandmother, Carol Whalen of Witherbee, New York; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Michelle was a 1995 graduate of Moriah Central School, attended Clinton Community College, and eventually relocated to Battle Creek, Michigan in 2005. She held several different jobs, before  finding her true passion-Sales & Marketing. She was the Director of Corporate Sales for the Battle Creek Knights Professional basketball team.

Michelle had a personality that was contagious, and a smile that would light up a room. She had the unique gift of walking into a room full of strangers and would leave with several new friends. She loved meeting new people and experiencing new adventures, living life to its fullest. Her two children, Jessalynn and TJ,  were her entire heart and soul, cherishing every moment spent with them. Michelle was the life of any gathering, enjoyed intelligent conversation and welcomed a good debate. She passed away leaving a legacy of compassion, strength, beauty, and was wise beyond her short years spent with us.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, October 7, 2016 at St. Patrick's Church in Port Henry, NY.  A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Robin's Nest Banquet Hall in Battle Creek, MI on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 7 pm.

Memorial donations can be made to the Essex County Mental Health Association in Westport, NY. To leave condolences for the family or to light a candle in her memory please visit www.harlandfuneralhome.com
