Nancy L. Sutherland Battle Creek Nancy L. Sutherland, 70, of Battle Creek, died Saturday, September 8, 2012. Nancy was born January 5, 1942 in Sturgis to Lloyd and Garlene (Behnke) Feasel. She graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1960 and went on to hold many jobs, including time with Interbake, Stanley and Denso. She also worked for a long time in the family business, Bill's Bait Shop. But most importantly, she was a stay at home mom, raising three children with her husband Frank "Tony." Nancy and Tony were married on June 25, 1960 and enjoyed 35 years of marriage, until his passing in June of 1995. Nancy had many interests in life, including playing and coaching floor hockey, softball and bowling. She enjoyed sewing and ceramics. She was a member of Crossroads Church in Marshall. Nancy is survived by her three children, Jeff (Sherri) Sutherland, Rod (Marnie) Sutherland, and Tim (Elaine) Sutherland; her grandchildren, Brett (Mike), Sabrina, Jillian (Johnny), Nick, Wade, Sam (Ashley), Trevor, Brandon, Peyton Sutherland and Mara (Luke) Decker; a brother, Bill Feasel; a sister-in-law, Elaine Feasel; a niece, Stacy (Jason) Deskins; a nephew, Jason Feasel; her step-mother, Mary Feasel, and a step-brother, Dennis Greenman. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Tony; her parents; a daughter, Tammy Sutherland, and a grandson, Xander Sutherland. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, where funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 12, officiated by Pastors Shawn and Kathleen Loughrige.
