Paul Keifer Obituary

Paul G. Keifer Homer Paul G. Keifer, age 89, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2011 at his residence. He was born August 9, 1921 in Wilshire, Ohio to James and Wilma (Dalley) Keifer. He was married to Jean Marie Palmer who preceded him in death in 1994. Paul lived most of his life in Homer, Owned & Operated Keifer Welding along with his father and brothers. Then he worked for Universal Vise & Tool in Jackson for 15 years. He was a member of Cook's Prairie Baptist Church in Homer. Paul is survived by: sons- Stanley Studer of Homer, Ricky Keifer of California, David Studer of Iron Mountain, Galen (Marty) Keifer of Homer. Daughters- Sandra E. Leonard of Florida, Beverly Studer of Lansing, Rebecca French of Camden, Jane Tesch of Reading; numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers- Frank Keifer of Hartford,Thomas Keifer of Homer, Marvin Keifer of Tekonsha He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Jean and son Leroy Studer. Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, January 9, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224. Funeral Service will be Monday, January 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Brian Walker officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Homer.
